PRO TIP: 2X your listening speed on all videos
TAKE ACTION:
1. Watch the video.
2. Write out 5 subject lines from your symptom worksheet - A subject line should be concise and informative, giving the recipient a clear idea of the email's content. For instance, if you're sending an email about a business opportunity, your subject line could be "How To Launch Your First Business In 14 Days".
See how that creates intrigue?
Here are some additional tips for writing effective email subject lines:
- Personalize the subject line: Use the recipient's name or company name in the subject line to make it more personal.
- Use keywords: Use keywords that the recipient is likely to search for in the subject line.
- Create a sense of urgency: Use words like "urgent" or "important" to make the recipient want to open the email immediately.
- Keep it short and sweet: The subject line should be no more than 50 characters long.
- If you would like additional ideas, opt-in to other funnels and see what subject headlines are coming to you in your email and which ones grab your attention the most. Then mirror that.
Additionally, if you just want some crazy headline ideas, go to the national enquirer to get some great ideas on headlines and adjust them for your brand.
3. Write out 5 practice CTA's - Put a CTA (call to action) in the email asking them to get on a clarity (learn more) call. This CTA will be based upon whatever is the greatest pain point of your who.
An example of a CTA is
- Yes, I Want To Learn How To Start My Own Business
- Yes! Tell Me More
- Yes, Show Me How To Break Free From My 9 - 5
Keep your CTA short.
Again, look at other emails and see what other people are using for ideas as to how to integrate that into your email.
Ask yourself questions. What was working about what I saw? What wasn't working about what I saw? What can I do to make it better?
4. All emails should look like they are from your best friend. This means that there aren't pictures, logos, or super formal looking... all of this is being tracked and you are earning a sender score based upon whether you look like a business soliciting or just the average person using email.
So if you want more of your emails to hit their inbox… Fewer pictures and a more casual approach are definitely helpful when creating emails.
